About UV & Skin Cancer Prevention

The objectives of the 4th International Conference on UV & Skin Cancer Prevention are:

  • Bring together the leading international researchers and practitioners in skin cancer prevention to showcase the latest research findings and best practices in community-based interventions
  • Create collaborative opportunities between the skin cancer prevention community and allied disciplines such as urban planners, architects, and radiation scientists
  • Respond to current concerns about gaps in the skin cancer prevention literature
  • Foster discussions about innovative emerging directions in skin cancer prevention research and practice

Who Should Attend

The delegate profile will be behavioral scientists, epidemiologists, radiation scientists, policy makers, public health advocates, public health practitioners, general practitioners, dermatologists, and related clinicians. As well, delegates will include environmental health specialists and design professionals (architects, landscape architects, arborists, urban designers and planners). All of the delegates will have a strong interest in population-based approaches to skin cancer prevention by creating environments, promoting lifestyles, changing clinical practices and influencing health policy.
